Terms of Use

Last updated: June 2025 · Effective date: June 2025

We've written these terms in plain English — no legal traps, no hidden catches. They simply explain how to use this site fairly, protect the work we both put into projects, and set clear expectations on both sides. If anything is unclear, just ask us directly.

These Terms of Use apply to zaqlab.com, operated by Zakaria Echchebab trading as Zaqlab. By browsing the site you're agreeing to these terms — but they're designed to be fair and reasonable for everyone.

1. Using This Website

This site exists to showcase our work, share expertise, and help potential clients understand what we do. You're welcome to explore, share, and reach out. We simply ask that you use it respectfully and lawfully.

Specifically, please don't:

  • Use the site for anything illegal or harmful.
  • Attempt to hack, scrape in bulk, or interfere with the site's infrastructure.
  • Copy or republish our content or portfolio work without permission.
  • Send spam or unsolicited promotional messages through our contact forms.

Everything else? You're good.

2. Our Content

The writing, design, code snippets, case studies, and branding on this site belong to Zaqlab or our respective clients. We're proud of this work and ask that you don't reproduce it without a quick email asking first — we're usually happy to say yes for non-commercial purposes.

For commercial use or republishing, please reach out to contact@zaqlab.com.

3. Portfolio & Case Studies

Every project in our portfolio is shown with the client's knowledge and permission. Results and metrics cited (such as conversion improvements or lead growth) reflect real reported outcomes from those engagements. Individual results vary depending on industry, scope, and market conditions — we never guarantee identical outcomes.

4. Website Availability

We work hard to keep this site fast and available around the clock. Occasionally we may take it offline briefly for maintenance or updates — we'll aim to do this at low-traffic times and keep any downtime minimal.

The site is provided in good faith. While we do our best to keep all information accurate and up to date, specific service details, timelines, and deliverables for your project are always confirmed in a formal written proposal — not on this website alone.

5. Responsibility

These terms cover your use of this website only — not any professional services we deliver under a separate agreement. If you ever have a concern about work we've done for you, our first step is always to resolve it directly and fairly.

As a standard legal note: Zaqlab won't be responsible for indirect losses arising purely from browsing this website (for example, decisions made based solely on reading a case study without engaging us). Any professional engagement is governed by a separate written agreement that spells out responsibilities clearly on both sides.

6. Links to Other Sites

We sometimes link to tools, platforms, or resources we trust and use ourselves — things like Stripe, Vercel, or other services. These links are genuinely useful recommendations, not paid placements (unless stated). We don't control those external sites, so please review their own terms before using them.

7. Working Together

If you decide to hire us, great — we're excited to work with you. Every engagement kicks off with a written proposal outlining scope, timeline, payment schedule, and deliverables. That document becomes the agreement for the project and takes precedence over anything on this website.

We believe in clear communication, fair terms, and standing behind our work. If something isn't right, we'll make it right.

8. Updates to These Terms

We may update these terms occasionally — usually to reflect changes in how we work or to improve clarity. The "Last updated" date at the top always shows when they were last revised. We won't make surprise changes that disadvantage you.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Morocco. We hope it never comes to a dispute, but if it does, Moroccan courts would have jurisdiction — and we'd always prefer to resolve things amicably first.

10. Questions?

If anything here is unclear or you'd like more detail about how we work, just reach out. We're a small team — you'll get a real answer from a real person, usually same day.
